LCR (Left-Center-Right) tournament is a fast-paced, social dice game competition where players buy into a pot, roll specialized dice, and pass their chips or tokens until only one winner remains. Because the game requires zero strategy and relies purely on luck, tournament play is highly informal, heavily reliant on a bracket of multiple tables, and often organized for charity or social gatherings.

How an LCR Tournament Works

The Setup: Each player starts the round with an equal number of chips (3)

The Rolls: Players take turns rolling three specialty dice that are marked with L (Left), R (Right), ★ (Center), and Dots (Keep).

L: Pass a chip to the player on your left.

R: Pass a chip to the player on your right.

★: Put a chip into the center pot (out of play).

Dot: Keep your chip.

• Active Dice: You only roll as many dice as you have chips. If you run out of chips, you skip your turn but are not eliminated (as the player to your left might roll an "L" or "R" and pass a chip back to you). 

• Advancement: The game concludes when all chips are in the center except for one. The last remaining player with a chip takes the pot and advances to the next level of the tournament. 

Tournament Structure

• Table Play: Organizers seat 10 players at individual tables.

• Prizes: The winner of each starting table wins an intermediate cash prize and advances to the "Finals" or "Championship Table".

• Secondary Rounds: After the main "Big Game" concludes, tournaments often host smaller, low-stakes side tables for those who were eliminated.
